The Stryker is a specially designed sports racing car. The basis of the design is a very light yet rigid steel tube space-frame chassis. The car weighs 550 kgs and transmission is a standard Ford gearbox, which is inexpensive, robust and reliable. The engine is a Ford Zetec 1800 producing 160 BHP. A control race tyre, Dunlop Formula R, is used and this gives excellent wear rates. One set should last for a season.
